In the download section (located directly below this guide), you will find a link to the official Optifine website.Please follow each step carefully if you have never installed OptiFine before. If it tells you your java version, this means that java is successfully installed and the deck is able to run it. Open konsole, and type java -version, and hit enter. For me, the exact text with path added was PATH=/home/deck/Java/jre1.8.0_351/bin:$PATH bashrc file, you need to make a new line that says export PATH="your copied path here":$PATH You may have to delete the last /, but I'm not sure. bashrc in kwrite, the default text editor. It's hidden by default, so if you don't see it click the menu button in the top left, and check "show hidden files". Click on the top bar just to the right where it says ">bin" and it should change to show you the path in text. You should see a bunch of files in this folder, including the java exec file. In the file explorer, go to the java folder, into the new jre folder, and then into the bin folder. When the window opens asking where to extract, click home on the left and pick that brand new Java folder you made, then hit extract again. Just double click on it, it'll open in archive manager, hit extract. Go to downloads and extract the java tar.gz file. Make a new folder in your home directory called Java.
